This view defines the metric hierarchies, telemetry data systems, and performance evaluation frameworks that govern what is measured, what is rewarded, what is only tracked as KRA/KPI telemetry, and how feedback changes behavior.
1. View Purpose & Decision Surface
The Performance, Telemetry & Reward view owns the metrics, systems of record, and evaluation loops of the enterprise. It answers:
- How does Zeta define a unified, non-overlapping metric hierarchy across our value engines?
- How do we structurally decouple direct monetary cash rewards from operational KRAs/KPIs to prevent metric gaming?
- What are the practitioner-level config bonuses and SRE SLO multipliers that align individual behavior with team outcomes?
2. Directory & Chapters
- 01. Metric Hierarchies: The unified C3M metric taxonomy and authoritative systems of record.
- 02. Partner Scorecards: Decoupling monetary incentives from non-monetary KRA/KPI telemetry.
- 03. Anti-Gaming Rules: Systemic protections against abstractive arbitrage, tenant stuffing, and metric manipulation.
- 04. Practitioner and Squad Incentives (To Be Drafted): Outline and placeholders for individual developer bonuses, SRE SLO multipliers, and team performance loops.
3. Boundary & Exclusions
- In-Scope: Metric definitions, telemetry data structures, KRA/KPI scorecards, partner evaluation criteria, and anti-gaming rules.
- Out-of-Scope: This view does not define product line taxonomies (View 1), delivery phase descriptions (View 2), hiring processes (View 3), partner decision rights (View 4), or risk councils (View 5). It owns the feedback and alignment, not the strategy or control.
