View 4: Leadership & Partnership

02. Role Accountabilities

Partners are aligned directly with the value engines and operating planes of Org 8.0, ensuring non-overlapping ownership across both the execution and functional axes.

1. Directory of Partner Roles

Zeta structures its leadership into five distinct, role-based Partner classifications:

1.1 GTM Partners (Pipeline Domain)

  • Operating Axis: Execution (Horizontal).
  • Primary Mandate: Owning commercial growth, pipeline expansion, regional/key-account relationship equity, and customer-sponsored R&D commitments.
  • Core Metrics: Portfolio Net Revenue, Client Retention, and GTM Expansion Margin.

1.2 Capability Partners (Platforms Domain)

  • Operating Axis: Functional/Asset (Vertical).
  • Primary Mandate: Owning the P&L, product roadmap, and technical maturity of a core platform (e.g., Tachyon, Olympus, Neutrino). Capability Partners collaborate with the Platform Architecture Council (PAC) to prevent bespoke software forks.
  • Core Metrics: Platform Adoption Rate, Configuration-to-Customization Ratio (CCR), and Asset Leverage Multiplier (\(\lambda\)).

1.3 Engagement Partners (Engagements Domain)

  • Operating Axis: Execution (Horizontal).
  • Primary Mandate: Supervising portfolios of active customer implementations, governing the transition lifecycle phases inside the Engagement Factory, and ensuring that Customer Products are deployed without custom code forks.
  • Core Metrics: Onboarding Velocity (OV), Portfolio Allocation Accuracy (PAA), and Platform Reuse Index (\(R\)).

1.4 Competency Partners (Functional Chapter/CoE Axis)

  • Operating Axis: Functional/Talent (Vertical).
  • Primary Mandate: Serving as Function Stewards (Chapter Owners or Outcomes CoE Leaders). They lead career chapters, mentor and evaluate talent, continuously automate chapter workflows, and deploy pre-integrated Human Agent Teams (HATs). SRE, Processing Operations, and Customer Success CoE leaders are designated Competency Partners.
  • Core Metrics: Chapter Self-Automation Rate (CSAR), Academy Certification Coverage (ACC), and Zero-Defect Quality (ZDQ).

1.5 Operating Partners (Enabling Core)

  • Operating Axis: Enablement (Supporting).
  • Primary Mandate: Leading critical corporate shared services (Finance, Legal, HR, Workplace). They ensure compliance, manage enterprise risks, and support partnership operational logistics.
  • Core Metrics: Corporate Overhead Efficiency, Compliance SLA Adherence, and Talent Acquisition Velocity.

2. Horizontal vs. Vertical Alignment Matrix

The alignment of these Partner roles ensures complete, two-axis coverage across the enterprise value chain:

                            VERTICAL AXIS (Chapters & Platforms)
                     Capability Partners Competency Partners
(Platform Core IP) (Chapters & CoE Talent)
                            │ │
  HORIZONTAL AXIS ┌─────────▼───────────────────────────▼──────────────────────────
Execution │ Product Line Codebase maturity │ Certified HAT staffing pool
(GTM & EOs) │ and configuration points. │ and discipline craft excellence.

By separating the horizontal execution of customer delivery from the vertical stewardship of platform assets and talent capabilities, Zeta ensures high operating leverage and prevents project-specific pressures from compromising long-term assets.
