This section is marked as To Be Drafted. It represents a strategic gap in the local repository's current footprint. Operational plane transitions, standard pipeline-to-platform gates, and specific run-plane operational procedures are undergoing technical validation and must be approved by the C3M Council before being permanently codified here.
Suggested Outline & Governing Decisions
When drafted, this chapter will serve as the detailed operational standard for managing execution boundaries and transitions. It must cover the following core areas and structural decisions:
1. Product Platform Plane Transitions
- Decisions Owned: Boundary criteria for standard platform releases, hotfixes, and standard configuration templates.
- Content to Cover:
- The Freeze Boundary: Rules governing the Tachyon core maturity mandate (feature freeze controls).
- The Platform Release Lifecycle: Standard CI/CD automated gates, performance and security benchmark requirements, and developer-facing API deprecation SLA windows.
2. Engagement Platforms Plane Automation
- Decisions Owned: Mandatory use cases, access controls, and compliance reporting on ERE and EWE platforms.
- Content to Cover:
- The ERE Pipeline: Automated BRD ingestion, proposal generation, and deployment of empty bootstrap environments.
- The EWE Pipeline: Automated tenant-config generation, billing engine integration, and SRE operations dashboard mapping.
3. The Run Plane Steady-State Operations
- Decisions Owned: Hand-off protocols from active delivery teams (Engagement Factory) to steady-state operations teams (Outcomes CoEs).
- Content to Cover:
- The Hand-off Criteria: Mandatory site assurance check-offs, disaster recovery certifications, and support-desk SLA alignments.
- Incident Management Interfaces: Escalation paths from Customer Support Desks (L1–L3) to Product Support (L4) and SRE Site Assurance.
